The Lancaster FAIRWAY Crew Picked Up 30 Bags of Litter from Hwy 30

We're very proud of our volunteers, Pam, George, Cheyenne and Ken, for picking up 30 bags of litter from Highway 30 on Saturday.  The weather was nice for us and it was a good morning workout.  Our little adopted stretch of highway is already looking better.

A great big thanks to our volunteers!

Training for local real estate professionals will help more active and veteran military families secure homeownership
—U.S. war veteran to receive keys to mortgage-free home—

WHAT: Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, one of the country’s largest mortgage companies, has once again joined forces with the Boot Campaign and the Military Warriors Support Foundation, non-profit organizations supporting returning American military troops, to present a “mortgage free” home to a wounded military veteran.

While the nation struggles to provide housing opportunities for veterans, Fairway Independent Mortgage will host this Certified Military Residential Specialist “Boot Camp” event in Lititz, PA to local real estate agents and other professionals on how to help active U.S. military service members and veterans overcome barriers to homeownership.

WHO: Fairway Independent Mortgage, one of the country’s largest mortgage companies, is organizing this event in cooperation with the Boot Campaign, a non-profit organization supporting returning American military troops; as well as Sean Parnell, retired Army Ranger and New York Times best-selling author of “Outlaw Platoon;” and the Military Warriors Support Foundation.

This is a very fragile time for these heroes, and their families, and it is the foundations goal to provide programs that facilitate a smooth and successful transition. These programs include home donation, academic and employment assistance, as well as recreational activities.
